Diagnostics

As advertisers, you need to analyze the performance of your ad campaigns and optimize your strategies accordingly. Traditionally, this process involves downloading data, consolidating, and analyzing it manually - a time-consuming and error-prone task.

XMP's Diagnostics empowers you to stay ahead of potential issues, make informed optimizations, and enhance the competitiveness of your advertising campaigns.

  • Optimize Strategies: Leverage the diagnostics insights to make targeted adjustments to your advertising strategies, driving higher ROI.
  • Mitigate Risks: Early detection of anomalies in your campaigns allows you to quickly address issues and minimize potential losses.

Notes:

  • The E-commerce Version of XMP does not currently support this feature.

  • Diagnostics is a whitelisted function - please contact your account manager to enable it.

  • Only Administrators and Sub-Administrators can add diagnostic products and assign data permissions.

  • Diagnostic Analysis

  • If there are no significant changes in the data, no diagnostic results will be displayed.

2. Data Fluctuation

2.1 Diagnostics Period

  • -Yesterday Week-over-week: Compare today's data with the same day one week ago
  • -Yesterday Day-over-Day: Compare today's data with yesterday's
  • -Last 7 Days Week-over-Week: Compare the last 7 days' data with the prior 7-day period

2.2 Diagnostics Methodology

  • Only in Occam's method, you can diagnose data by Increases or Decreases to identify the factor that has the most significant impact on data variability.
  • Increases: Analyze which factor had the greatest impact on the increase. For example, if product costs rose by 20%, we need to determine which specific factor contributed the most to this cost increase.
  • Decreases: Identify the factors behind the decline. If product costs dropped by 20%, we need to pinpoint which factor had the most significant effect in driving down the costs.

2.3 Presentation of Findings

  • Data fluctuation and their underlying drivers can be presented in both textual descriptions and tabular formats.

2.4 The dimensions of the Data fluctuation analysis influencing factors include: placement, location, channel, account, campaign, ad sets, ads, creatives

⚠️Note: If a data metric shows no significant changes, no diagnostic results will be displayed, even if you've selected that metric in the custom column settings.

3. Traffic Coverage

  • The Traffic Coverage section provides a comparative analysis of your product's traffic share versus its competitor products, across different channels, regions, and creative formats. Based on these insights, you can make targeted adjustments to your advertising strategies to optimize performance.
  • The analysis only displays the top 5 channels, regions, and creative formats for your product and its competitors.

4. Accounts&Budgets

  • The Account&Budgets highlights any issues such as low account balance, account anomalies, and insufficient budgets at the campaign or ad group level. You can use these diagnostic insights to quickly address the identified problems.
  • Click View in the operation column to jump to the corresponding channel-ad account/campaign/ad adsets level for optimization adjustment.

5.Materiral

  • The Material analyzes the decline in performance of your creatives over the past 14 days and provide information of refusal creatives.
  • Clicking View will direct you to the channel-specific ad/creative level, where you can perform bulk actions like replacement, editing, or pausing the bad-performing creatives.
