Teams & Users Management

XMP has a comprehensive team and user management system, allowing users to create optimize teams, design teams, and data analysis teams, with data segmentation for each team. It also supports collaboration across different teams, such as assigning ad accounts, sharing creatives, and sharing ad templates.

If you are the company administrator, you may need to create XMP accounts for other members of your teams, or manage different optimization teams by creating your teams. In this case, you can manage your teams and members in the Management > Teams & Users, where different roles have their own permissions.

🤝Tips:
1. The permissions of the admin and sub-admin accounts are the same, with only one admin account but multiple sub-admin accounts.
2. Design and data analysis users can be allocated permissions based on ad accounts, media buyer managers and teams.
3. After creating a new user or adjusting user permissions, there will be a 5-10 minute delay before the data takes effect, please wait patiently.

Team Management

For team management, click Management > Teams & Users

Teams are used to segregate data and divide functionalities. Only the admin and sub-admin have the Team management permissions.

Steps to Create a Team

Go to the Management > Teams & Users page. Then click "+" (Create Team) and enter the name of the team you want to create, then select the team type (Media Buy/Design/Analysis).

User Management

Admin, sub-admin, and manager roles can perform user management, including creating, editing, disabling, deleting sub-accounts, and assigning data permissions to sub-accounts.

Steps to Create a User

  • Click "+" to create a user.
  • Fill in the user name, user role, email and data permissions in the pop-up window.
  • Click "OK" to create a sub-account.
  • The status of the sub-account is "To be activated", and the XMP mailbox (xmp@mobvista.com) will send an activation email to the user's mailbox.
  • The user checks the email, clicks on the activation link and sets the login password by themselves.
✍️ Notice
The activation email is valid for 24 hours, after which the activation link will expire. If you need to resend the activation, you can do so from the "User Management" page.
◔ This email will be the account used to log in to XMP, so please use a valid email address.
◔ If the email has previously registered an XMP account that has not been deactivated, it cannot be reused.

User Management

On the "User" page, upper-level users can edit, disable, delete, and enable sub-accounts.

◉ Edit: Upper-level users can edit the user's role, department, email, and data permissions.

◉ Disable: Disabled users will be unable to log in and their associated ad accounts will be transferred to the admin.

◉ Delete: Accounts must be disabled before they can be deleted.

✍️ Notice
◔ The number of sub-accounts that can be created for each company is associated with the subscribed package.
◔ For roles such as designer, media buyer, and data Analyst, users cannot switch to a different team type. For example, a media buyer cannot switch to the designer or data Analyst team, but they can be upgraded to a sub-admin.
◔ Sub-admins cannot switch the user roles.

Changing Password

Users need to change password by themselves. Click on the account profile > Settings > Password. Alternatively, you can click on "Forgot Password" on the login page to reset your password.
