How to initial a successful Traffic Push?
Traffic Push is an essential oppotunity to let your Mintegral Offer re-learn on selected source apps or publishers. To make the most out of it, here are some guidance:
💡 Entrance: Traffic > Mintegral sub-source analysis > Sub-source Details. On the Sub-source Details page, select desired rows and click "Traffic Push" .
- Make sure the offer has enough budget to grow. Increase the budget beforehand to have an extra budget room from 200 to 500 USD is a practical way.
- For CPI offers, the offer bid can remain the same because XMP automatically double the bids for select source apps in Traffic Push 3-day period.
- For ROAS offers, we recommend that lower your target ROAS by 10%-20% is beneficial to the result of Traffic Push since the algorithm has more room to direct impression during and after the Traffic Push.
- Only select source apps that have less than 5 conversions in the last 7 days. You don't need to push to the ones that already has more conversions.
- Select a reasonable amount of source apps. 100 to 150 source apps is preferred.
- You could also filter the Traffic Type to find more precise categories to your app.
- You could also filter the Traffic Type and the high Traffic Value source apps that are unreached in the Cross-channel source app analysis, then perform a traffic push.
- For more precision on comparing your perfomance to the benchmark like Competitor CPM, CPI and IVR, you could filter the major placements like Rewarded Video and Interstitial Video.
-
After selecting the subsources, you can add them to the draft, then choose subsources from other area and submit all of them together from the draft. We recommend not push more than 3 countries at the same time, and the US should be push separately.
✍Pushing traffic to already high-performing sub-channels may disrupt their current algorithm and lead to limited results. Therefore, we recommend focusing on top sub-sources that are either uncovered or underutilized (with fewer than 5 conversions in the past 7 days). For sub-sources already performing well, we suggest increasing bids or lowering the ROAS target to boost volume.
How can you assess the results of testing new sub-sources after a traffic push?
The trial will begin at 00:00 the following day (UTC+8) and last for 3 days.
You can monitor sub-sources performance in the Task Center > Traffic Push > Traffic Push Data.
✍If a sub-source shows strong volume or ROAS, consider increasing CPI bids or lowering ROAS targets to capture more high-quality traffic, as the algorithm for this offer has already learned which sub-sources drive better results. For low-performing sub-sources, reducing bids or temporarily pausing them may be more effective.
