How to Use
1.Add a Template (for Automated Creative Filtering)
After accessing the Automated Ad Creation page, click "Create" and select the desired channel. This will take you to the interface for creating a new automated ad creation template, which follows the same setup flow as the regular ad creation process.
1.1 Set Basic Ad Information
First, select the ad account(s) you want to use (you can set up multiple accounts simultaneously). Then configure the campaign, placements, targeting, budget, bidding, and creative settings. This part of the setup process is exactly the same as the standard ad creation workflow.
1.2 Set Creative Filters
Maximum Number of Creative Groups:
- The system will split the filtered creatives into groups, with a maximum number of creatives per group as specified here. For example, if 10 creatives are filtered and the maximum group size is set to 2, it will generate 5 creative groups.
- When both video and image filtering rules are set, the system will submit the auto-creation task as long as either the video or image condition is met.
- If the filtering mode is selected to the specify creatives, the maximum creative groups setting will not apply, and only 1 creative group will be generated.
- You can set different filtering criteria for multiple creative groups.
Creative Filtering Rules:
1.Mode: It's recommended to choose "Dynamic Filtering" to dynamically filter and create ads with qualifying creatives.
2.Max Creatives per Group: Set the maximum number of creatives allowed in each creative group. For example, if 10 creatives are filtered and the max is set to 2, it will generate 5 creative groups.
3.Folders: When the selected folder contains subfolders, the system will also filter creatives from those subfolders that meet the criteria.
4.Use New Creatives Only: If enabled, the system will only use creatives that have not been used to create ads in XMP before.
5.Max Usage Count: When the auto-creation task runs multiple times, this sets the maximum number of times a creative can be used within this creative group's rules.
6.Min. Usage Interval: When the auto-creation task runs multiple times, this sets the minimum time interval (in days) before a creative can be reused within this creative group's rules. The interval is calculated from 0:00 AM.
7.Filter Used Creatives: If enabled, the system will automatically filter out creatives that have already been used in other creative groups to avoid duplication.
8.Additional Filtering: Optional additional filtering criteria can be set based on your requirements.
1.3 Set Template Schedule and Frequency
Time Zone: It's recommended to select the time zone of the ad account, so the ads can be published in sync with the local user traffic patterns to maximize ad exposure.
Check Frequency: Set the desired frequency for automatically creating ads based on your requirements.
2. Manage Tasks
2.1 View Task List and Execution History
On the Automated Ad Creation page, you can:
-View the list of added tasks
-Adjust the task status
-Edit, copy, delete tasks
-Check the task execution logs
If the task status is set to "On" and the task is within the scheduled time frame, the system will automatically create ads based on the configured template settings and schedule.
Tips✍: Admins can view the task lists of all users in the team. Media buyer managers can view the task lists of all users in their department. Media buyers can only view the tasks they have set up.
By clicking the "Log" action in the list, you can review the execution log of the automated ad creation tasks:
-If the result shows "Successful", it means the task has successfully created the Campaign, Ad Set, and Ads.
-If the result shows "Fail", it means at least one of the Campaign, Ad Set, or Ads failed to be created.
By clicking "View Details" in the execution log window will take you to the task center, where you can see the detailed information of the Campaign, Ad Set, and Ads created in this task.
Based on the media's returned parameters, you can modify the template settings to resolve the fail tasks. If the failure was due to unstable API, you can click "Retry Failed" to attempt the task again.
2.2 Edit, Copy, and Delete Templates
On the Automated Ad Creation page, you can perform the following actions on the saved templates:
Edit: Make changes to an existing template.
Copy: Create a new template by copying an existing one.
Delete: Remove a template.
